Floating floors need room to expand, which is why all manufacturers require expansion gaps around the perimeter. If the top stairnosing is glued down, it prevents movement and stops underlay from being used underneath.
Our Top Step Detail creates space for expansion while keeping the finish clean and secure. You can add this to your order as needed-usually just for the top one or two steps.
